Why Dr. Bond and Dr. Ganfield Chose Dentistry
Dr. Bond started his studies in college as an engineering major, but he had a brother in dental school. After visiting his sibling, he decided to switch his major to chemistry with a focus on pre-dental studies. He is so happy with the path he has chosen because he enjoys caring for patients and helping them smile every day.
Dr. Ganfield has always taken pride in providing help to others, which is why he became a dentist. He loves caring for all types of patients, solving their health issues, and providing them with comfortable and quality care. His favorite part of the job is changing the way his patients’ smiles look and feel.
Education and Background
Dr. Bond achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. This provided him with a good foundation, but he also takes continuing education courses to stay up-to-date on the latest dental techniques.
Dr. Ganfield received his doctorate from Temple University, and he continues his passion for learning by also attending continuing education courses, where he’s been trained in orthodontic services like Invisalign clear braces and Six Month Smiles.
Fun Outside of the Office
A family man, Dr. Bond loves spending time with his wife and daughters when he’s not busy at the office. He also enjoys traveling, bicycling, playing tennis, and skiing to stay active and healthy.
Dr. Ganfield has helped underprivileged children and adults in Guatemala correct oral healthcare problems before they become more serious. He enjoys educating patients of all walks of life on how to keep their mouths healthy. When he’s not in the office, he’s spending time with his wife and kids. He enjoys watching their sports and sometimes even coaching as well as any activities that get him outdoors!
